Over 25 years of innovation in engine management

Since its founding, trijekt has stood for technical precision, German engineering, and continuous innovation. What began in the 1990s with the idea of a freely programmable, fully electronic ignition and injection control system has evolved into an internationally recognized provider of advanced engine management systems.

From the racetrack to stationary installations, maritime systems, and industrial applications – every stage of trijekt’s product development has been defined by innovation, practical experience, and a commitment to making engines more efficient and reliable.

Our history shows how an idea “Made in Germany” became a technology used worldwide.

  • 2025

    For the first time, the product trijekt gas marine has received the official Lloyd’s Register Type Approval certification. This confirms compliance with the highest international safety and quality standards for maritime and offshore applications. The certification highlights the technical maturity, reliability, and manufacturing quality of trijekt control units – a significant milestone for the global deployment of professional gas engine and marine applications.

  • 2022

    Another milestone in the functional development of the trijekt gas: in addition to a central gas mixer, the system can now also control injection valves commonly used in hydrogen engines. The gas supply is managed sequentially – meaning each cylinder is individually and precisely controlled.

  • 2017

    Innovation for gas engines: trijekt gas is a complete engine management system that combines all essential functions for controlling a gas engine in a single control unit.

  • 2015

    Since 2015, a modern engine test bench has been available at our facilities.

  • 2012

    In 2012, the company headquarters were relocated from Freudenberg to Wenden. At Wielandstraße 3, we operate modern administrative, production, and testing facilities.

  • 2011

    Due to increasing demand, two new engine control units were developed:
    trijekt bee – compact and powerful, especially designed for use in motorcycles
    trijekt premium – our flagship model, ready for any application

  • 2007

    trijekt supplies engine control units for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) of the German Armed Forces for the first time.

  • 2006

    Since 2005 the company trijekt has been operating under the legal form GmbH.

  • 2004

    From constant further development the engine control unit “trijekt plus” was developed.

  • 2004

    Originally designed for use in motorsport, trijekt ECUs have evolved into products for the most diverse industrial sectors as a result of their consistent focus on market requirements and customer expectations.

  • 1999

    The distribution of the first control units in series started.

  • 1998

    Foundation of Schreiber & Waffenschmidt OHG
